About Misti

Misti was born and raised in the Abilene, TX area, with most of her life spent in the country.   As a child, her dreams were always of being a teacher and a mom.  In school, Misti stayed busy in basketball, track, FFA, showing animals, and her church youth group.  Her family has always been a huge part in her life.

Misti graduated from Texas Tech University in 2004, with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and in 2010 received her Master's degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.   She is an avid Tech fan!!!  She has been an elementary teacher for the past nine years in a small district in Central Texas, spent a year as a Reading Specialist and is currently an Assistant Principal at the same district she taught at for nine years.

Misti is a great wife!  She has a love for all children that is very evident.  Our nieces and nephews light up when they see her, with the one-year old telling others, "I'm Misti's girl!"
 Misti is elated about this opportunity to become a mom and starting her family.
